Welcome to my tireless brain and never-ending thoughts! Part of the reason I started this blog is exactly for that, so I could get my scattered ideas organized and in one place. I’m just a small-town girl who was raised on a dairy farm with our beautiful cows, but I’m also someone who wants to help others uncover and build the foundation of who they are. If you knew me, and well now you will, you would know that this girl prefers rainy days to sunny days, lives for her Sunday naps, and could eat Nutella crepes every day for the rest of her life. You would also know that my happy place (and guilty pleasure) is when I’m reading my favorite fantasy books. Most importantly you would know that my other reason for starting this blog is because of some of the struggles life has thrown my way. Throughout my first year of college, I continually grew more and more frustrated, anxious, and sad to the point where I cried every time I called home. I was stressed about my finances, had no idea what I wanted to do for a career, questioned why I wasn’t in a relationship, didn’t know what groceries to buy or meals to cook for the life of me, and wrangled with God about what my purpose even was. I was overwhelmed, to say the least, and it seemed like my only answers were a complicated budget sheet, awkward dates, 20-step recipes, and more questions. I knew this wasn’t the life I wanted to stumble through and I knew it could somehow be simpler, hence “Well Rounded”. Still at a stage where I am discovering myself and developing my life skills, I want to openly share what I’m learning in hopes that it could help you too. I want to build the best version of myself who is aware and engaged in all aspects and topics of life. Ultimately, I am going to become the best well-rounded version of myself that I can achieve. I hope you have similar goals and want to start this empowering enterprise with me. Start below by reading my first post “The 8 Categories To Becoming Your Best Well-Rounded Self”.
